Make A Wish Dinner

Houston
Mia’s appt is over and heart function was perfect! We will change meds on Monday. Whe had dinner at the aquarium last night. Today we go to the zoo and will post more.
Gearing Up!
Well, we are getting ready to travel to Houston on Thursday. Mia has a date with the cardiologist on Friday. We hope to hear that her heart Hypertrophy is now normal.
We are going the be there all weekend with a trip to the zoo and aquarium.
Make-A-Wish

Well its been a while since I had the chance to blog. But this is a great time to do it. Tonight Sandy Irvin (left) and Lavonne Miles, both volunteers with Make-A-Wish, came over the try and find out what Xy Mia wants to wish for. Both ladies were very helping, as Mia tends to be a little shy at first. Davian sure seemed ready to talk.
It didn’t take long for Sandy to have Mia talking up a storm. Seems her most favored wish is to go to a Jonas Brothers concert (in the Bahamas or London) and have backstage passes to meet them. Her backup wish was for a Disney Cruise, however, later she really stressed that the cruise is a back burner wish.
Wow, she was really nervous about the meeting. I think more excited and speechless is the word.
We can’t even begin to thank MAW, LaVonne, Sandy and all other volunteers that make special times for our children at such difficult moments.

Home Alone!
The family is in El Paso this weekend, so I’m home alone. Gave me some time to catch up on a few things but I sure do miss them.
Ivan (my brother-in-law) and I went out to dinner last night at Luvianos, that was good. That’s the most excitement I’ve had so far.
Got Windows 7 installed on my Mini9 and using it to write this blog. Seems to run just fine on this netbook.

Moms girls night out!
On Friday night Mom had girls night out with friends. The kids and I suffered alone at Logans steakhouse and Sonic for dessert!
